Champions League hope over for Milan
Tonight Arsenal ended Milan’s reign as European champions. A late goal by Fabregas and Adebayor put Arsenal ahead and ended Maldini’s dream to Moscow.
Arsenal came out strong but both teams had their chances with Fabregas hitting the cross bar just before half time.
Alexandre Pato had a few good chances as well. The delivery just wasn’t their for him. This is not to blame Kaka as Kaka played an excellent game but his efforts were denied by Arsenal aggressive defense.
Pirlo looked tired and was more aware of how he looked then playing hard aggressive football.
Overall Milan played poor football and now need to head back to the drawing table and make sure they finish fourth place.
Another big question will be if Carlo Ancelotti remains with AC Milan.
