Alexandre Pato will not be the last Emperor

Alexandre Pato and Seedorf

Alexandre Pato has shown glimpses of brilliance on the pitch this season and many fans are expecting more and more from the 18 year old striker from Brazil. His speed, dribbling ability and instincts closely match that of Ronaldo and Adriano. However like the former, fans need to ensure that they do not put too much pressure on the youngster or he might end up like Adriano in a couple of years time.

Seedorf made this clear with his comments during an interview with Sky Sport Italia,

“He is a fantastic talent, but we already knew that.”

“I have always tried to calm the hysteria, but not because I don’t want him to be praised.”

“Look at what happened to Adriano – he became the Emperor of Inter at 22-years-old, but he didn’t have the moral or mental capacity to be a leader and now look at where he is.”

Let’s all hope that Pato is not the last Emperor and grows to become a player like Ronaldo minus the injuries.

yeah….milan and its fans must be careful on this…
duck is just a kid…and we should not overload him…
we must not expect him to score all times when he is on the pitch, that would make things worser like adriano and gilardino.
he must be allowed to play his game freely and to make best use of his talent by providing more chances to him……
remember “PATO is not MILAN” he is not playing alone, pressure should be on all starting eleven.
wat happended to adriano is same of Gilardino too….milan failed to make use of gila properly…
