Alexandre Pato to debut against Sweden
Alexandre Pato will make his international debut against Sweden later on this month. The youngster from Milan has already played a few league games and has made a massive impact.
His presence on the squad will add pace and energy, which is what Brazil need after a poor performance in the last World Cup.
Dunga does not want fans to put pressure on Pato, as they have with previous stars like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho.
“Alexandre has played some good games but, in the desire to create another star quickly, people get carried away,” said Dunga.
“We mustn’t put too much responsibility on him. Young players have problems with consistency, their performances vary a lot.”
Although we have Pato back in the squad, Dunga has left Ronaldinho in Barcelona as the star is not fully match fit.
Alexandre Pato, Kaka and Ambrosini score against Empoli
AC Milan came from a devastating lost to Arsenal earlier this week to win against Empoli. Alexandre Pato opened the scoring with a strike at an open goal. Busce then equalised for Empoli until Ambrosini and Kaka sealed the game with a goal each.
