Pato to miss match against Juventus
Pato sat out of last weeks match against Cagliari. He continued to train until Thursday but this was interrupted by his adductors problems. Carlo Ancelotti now has a massive task on his hands as he needs to win tomorrow without Alessandro Nesta, Kakha Kaladze, Marek Jankulovski, Massimo Oddo and Emerson.
AC Milans squad tomorrow will be Dida, Fiori, Kalac, Bonera, Cafu, Digao, Favalli, Maldini, Serginho, Simic, Ambrosini, Brocchi, Gattuso, Gourcuff, Kakà , Pirlo, Seedorf, Gilardino, Inzaghi, Paloschi.
Everybody is worried about Pato
Teenage sensation and the next Brazilian superstar Alexandre Pato has been the talk around town since his debut against Sweden. However, many are worried that too much pressure could ruin the growth Pato needs to become the best. We all know that he has the pace, scoring ability and charisma but he stiill needs to stregthen mentally just like any 18 year old.
If AC Milan do not qualify for the Champions League and Brazil do not take home the Olympic gold medal, I fear Pato will blame himself. So lets not put too much pressure on the poor kid and let him play football.
Former Brazilian coach Scolari believes the real test is how Pato will handle the lifestyle.
“To make sure that he becomes a phenomenon we have to see how he handles the lifestyle that goes with playing on and off the pitch,” said Scolari.
“Right now he is great, but we cannot get too enthusiastic. If we force him onto the red carpet, he could also stumble.”
