Pato scores but Milan still finish fifth
AC Milan came from behind to win 4-1 against Udinese. With a poor start in the first half, Milan came back on the pitch in the second half 1-0 down.
Pato started the scoring followed by Inzaghi, Cafu and Seedorf. Kaka played exceptionally well, however he did miss a penalty.
Milan efforts were obscured by Fiorentina’s late goal against Turino which means Milan will not be participating in next years Champions League.
It has been a bad day for Milan fans with such a poor display of football this season. Lets hope they come back with fresh legs and win every competition including the UEFA Cup.

Kaka AC Milans prime striker next year

“Starting from next season Kaká will play as a second striker. It’s an excellent solution, but there can only be a striker in front of him. Inzaghi’s doing well right now, so Pato has to alternate with him,” says Galliani.
Pato was to be the main striker for Milan but the past few games has seen Pato on the bench. Milan has done considerably well with Kaka and Inzaghi upfront and the relationship between the two players has proven successful.
With Ronaldo deciding not to renew his contract with Milan, Kaka would be an excellent replacement.
Kaka is very pleased with the decision by the club as he prefers to be closer to the goals.
“Yes, it’s a position I like and to which I am used because it allows me to be closer to the goal, more decisive, I can play more assists and also score more. With Pippo there is a good understanding right now, for the future the club will make the right decisions concerning our strikeforce.”
