Brazil arrive in Hanoi Airport in Vietnam
Thousands of Vietnamese fans awaited at the Noi Bai Airport with support banners to welcome Brazilian footballers.
Viet Nam Football Federation vice chairman Le Hung Dung flew with the guest team from Singapore, where they beat the Singapore national squad 3-0 in a friendly match on July 28.
From Noi Bai Airport, Olympic Brazil went directly to the Sheraton Hotel, where they are staying during their time in Vietnam. No fans could get a signature from the Brazilians at the airport.
The Brazilian team will take two training sessions at 4:30 pm July 30 and July 31 at the My Dinh National Stadium, where they will play Vietnam at 8pm on August 1. The friendly match is part of the team’s preparations for the Beijing Olympics.
After the match in Vietnam, Olympic Brazil will fly to Beijing. Their first game is against Belgium on August 7. They then take on New Zealand on the 10th and host nation China on the 13th in Group C. The tournament runs from August 8 to 24.

The friendly ends with 3-0 with Brazil winning easily. Goals from 20′ Diego, 26′ Ronaldinho and 81′ Neves. Pato had a few chances but and his shot was deflected from the keeper all Ronnie had to do was tap it in.
