All goes wrong for Shevchenko

Shevchenko was to be Milan payer again today until Chelsea pulled the plug on the done deal.  Adriano Galliani was to meet up with Shevchenko and Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon to seal the deal. 

However, Chelsea were not happy that Milan wanted to buy the player outright.  The agreement was to loan Shevchenko for a year. 

Life for Shevchenko has not been good since he left Milan for £30 million two years ago.  He was left out of the first team against Scolari and it looks like Robinho might likely arrive by next week which pushes Shevchenko down the list.
