Milan beat Heerenveen 3-1

AC Milan beat Heerenveen 3-1 with a double from Inzaghi and one from Gattuso. Heerenveen got one back with a penalty when Favalli was booked for shirt holding. Alexandre Pato and Ronaldinho started on the bench and Ancelotti opted for a older strike force with Inzaghi and Shevchenko. Shevchenko struggled while goal scoring machine Inzaghi produced yet again. Kaka was strong as usual along the left wing and helped deliver the first goal. He continued to beat the defence providing the forwards with chances to score.

In the 70th minute Ancelotti brought on Ronaldino and Pato for Shevchenko and Inzaghi. Pato nearly scored of a mistake from the defender but the keeper managed to save hit and it went over the cross bar. Ronaldino looked lively and was running the offense with Kaka and gattuso but Milan did not look like they were going to score as the rest of the team looked tired.
