AC Milan at Fratton Park to face Portsmouth

Who would have thought but it is a dream come true to all Portsmouth fans, AC Milan has finally arrived in their city. The likes of Kaka, Pato, Ronaldinho, Zambrotta, Seedorf and Shevchenko is like watching a blockbuster from Hollywood with Carlo Ancelotti as the director.
“This isn’t a normal game,” Portsmouth keeper David James said. “Until the draw it was only a dream. Before last season it was something that was possibly never going to happen. It will be talked about for years to come by the people who were here. Watching it on television will be a pale second to actually being at Fratton Park.”
“They are one of the best sides in Europe, so for about five minutes they’ll be thinking, ‘Wow, why are we playing here?” James said with a smile.
Ancelotti, however, looked utterly unperturbed. “It is a good ground – old school, that is very nice,” he said. “The pitch looks very good. It’s a football ground, it’s green – I see no difference.”
Milan’s first task when arriving in Portsmouth was to find accommodation for 60 players and backroom staff as well as 30 journalists. Some would say that this would have been their most difficult task but not Portsmouth manager Tony Adams. He believes that his team will cause problems with Kanu and Crouch having the advantage in the air.
Ancelotti is most likely going to put Ronaldinho on the bench and start with Pato and Shevchenko upfront.
Probable formation
AC Milan (probable, 4-3-1-2) Dida; Zambrotta, Senderos, Favalli, Antonini; Flamini, Emerson, Ambrosini; Kaka; Shevchenko, Pato.
