Pato loving life in Milan

Alexandre Pato

ato has struggled this season after finding it hard to score for Milan.  However he has admitted that he is still happy at Milan and doesn’t mind playing second best to the host of great players.

“I am happy to be at Milan, I do what I want which is playing football and I am in a great family here with so many great players,” Pato told Sky Sport Italia.

“Everyone knows there are many good players here and I need to give my best in training in order to get a starting place.

“I love everything about Italian football and I am tranquil at Milan because I have so many stars around me.

“I’m still young and I have time to improve.”

Milan face Chievo Verona on Sunday and after a poor effort last week from Boriello, Pato is likely to start alongside Ronaldinho and Kaka to form the famous KA-PA-RO lineup.

Late comback by Lecce deny Milan top spot

Pato came on at the 75th minute and instantly helped Ronadinho score Milan’s first goal. It looked like Milan was going to win the game until Lecce cancelled the first goal with a late header by Andrea Esposito.

Boriello had a lot of chances but seem to spray every strike over the crossbar. Ancelotti should have made a change earlier in the game but waited till the 75th and 80th minute to bring on Pato and Inzaghi for Flamini and Ronaldinho.

Milan’s defense did not have to work hard but when they did they failed and Esposito was able to head the ball pass Abbiati. It was another frustrating game to watch as Milan were not able to find the net and when they did it was sloppy.

Inter have regain the top spot from AC Milan and they too were lucky to win as a late goal Cruz gave them a 1-0 win against Udinese.

Milan face Chievo Verona next Sunday.
