Seedorf, Kaka and Beckham score to give Milan a 4-1 win over Bologna

AC Milan were in good spirit today after Kaka announced that he was staying at Milan earlier in the week and Milan had more to celebrate as Ancelotti was hitting his 400th cap as manager of AC Milan.
However, it was Bologna who took the early lead after Marco Di Vaio converted an early penalty. Milan wasted no time in equalising with a close range shot from Seedorf and then took the lead after kaka converted a penalty on the 16th minute. Then just before the break Kaka extended the lead with a beautifully placed strike just outside the box giving the keeper no chance to save it and making sure the fans appreciated his presence.

After the break David Beckham sealed the deal with an excellent strike from a Seedorf assist giving Milan a much needed three points to tie with Inter Milan who play Sampdoria tonight.

“I am happy because I celebrated my 400th game on the Rossoneri bench with a nice victory,” Carlo Ancelotti said after the match.

“We showed balance and quality, and I think we can win the Scudetto if we keep this up.”

He also revealed that there could be a possibility for David Beckham to extend his stay at Milan.

“It’s up to him to decide,” maintained Carletto. “Our hands are tied, because he has a running contract [with LA Galaxy].

“As long as Beckham is at my disposal, I don’t see why I shouldn’t field him, since he is performing so well.

Pato did not score today but his relationship and understanding of teammate Kaka is proving to be a positive force for Milan.
