Milan continue their run beating Siena 5-1

Milan continued their excellent run despite Kaka and Ronaldinho both starting on the bench. Pirlo opened the scoring at the 7th minute after converting a penalty that was rewarded to Mathieu Flamini when he was tripped by Houssine Kharja.

Then at the end of the first half a David Beckham corner landed well for Inzaghi to make it 2-0 and also put Inzaghi one goal away from hitting his 300th goal for Milan.

In the the second half, Milan continued their onslaught with Pato scoring with a long range shot at the 55th minute giving Milan a confortable 3-0 lead.

Eventhough it was all Milan, Maccarone managed to pull one back scoring from a tight angle. However, Milan were not finished yet, as Inzaghi celebrated his 300th goal for Milan at the 72nd minute. Then six minutes later Pato ended any chance of a comeback for Siena when he caught onto a long ball from Ronaldinho to make it 5-1.

Although Pato scored two goals the coach was not too happy about his involvement throughout the game.

“Pato was sleeping for a while, but then he scored two goals,” said Ancelotti. “He has to work on getting involved more, but he scores goals with the ease of a star.”
