Happy Birthday Pato

Alexandre Pato celebrates his 21st birthday today and has done for the past four years with Milan. At a tender age of 17, when he joined Milan. Pato has grown into an icon and an important player in Milan and in Italy. He has developed into one of the best strikers in the world and also been flexible with the roles that he has been assigned, which shows his maturity over the years. Happy birthday Pato and great work, keep it up and hope you win it all this year.

Pato in great form for start of the season

Alexandre Pato was in great form over the weekend against Lecce. He scored twice and showed his blistering pace that we all missed last season. All he needs to do is stay fit and I can almost bet that he will score over 30 goals this season. With the addition of Ibrahimovic and Robinho, AC Milan look to be contenders for the Serie A title plus the Champions League.

It will be exciting to see where Allegri will play Robinho. Although, I can imagine Robinho playing a floating role behind Ibrahimovic, a role that has not been fulfilled since the departure of Kaka.

With Borriello on loan to Roma and Huntelaar sold to Schalke all eyes will be on Ibrahimovic. A man who has never been able to deliver during the big games, he needs to prove himself or he will be biting his tongue when Galliani sends him back to Barcelona.

Pato dismisses move to Chelsea

Alexandre Pato has dismissed rumours once again that he will be joining Chelsea in the Summer. The Milan striker has been linked to both Chelsea and Real Madrid over the last two years. Some reports have even stated that the deal has been done with Ancelotti and Milan to sign Pato next season.

However, Pato has made it clear that he wants to stay but has also stated that it will be up to the club if he stays or not.

‘I want to stay in Milan and win it all here. But I’m a player red-black and my future will be decided by the club’ – Pato told the Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

‘Ancelotti is a great person. I grew up in Italy with him, but I have a contract until 2014 and I’m happy at Milan and do not want to leave,’ added Pato.
