The tendency to hand out invitations in public places tracks through the grades. In the hubbub that followed a middle school play, I witnessed one preteen distributing birthday party invitations to a delighted crowd surrounding her. Glancing around, I noticed other youngsters also watched the excitement, and were not as pleased about it.
It is not difficult to place an order for personalized shot glasses especially if you make your order online. There are many vendors who sell the shooter glasses and will be willing to personalize them for you. The advantage of shopping online is that the glasses are much cheaper compared to other outlets and there is a very wide selection from which you can choose from.
Completing and mailing birthday party invitations is an unwelcome chore. No wonder parents are tempted to streamline the process by personally handing out birthday party invitations at school.
The general colour for a themed birthday-party-set for girls is pink, and for boys it is generally blue. The party-sets for girls have lots of flowers, hearts and sweets while that for boys have swords, stickers, tattoos, toy guns, and balls, etc.
Be creative with the food! While birthday cake and punch is fine, for a casual gathering, it doesn't take much more effort to make the party food really shine. If you are worried about budget, you can ask each party guest to bring a favorite party dish (or something reminiscent of the birthday boy or girl), to add as a potluck favorite. A taco, soup or potato bar, can feed a lot of people, without putting a major dent in the budget, and best of all most of the food can be prepared ahead. For a really easy solution for food, you can have the party at the birthday celebrant's favorite restaurant, just be sure to let the each of the party guests know the menu prices, if you won't be picking up the tab.
